Photo Gallery: Atlantis and astronauts at the pad
Space shuttle Atlantis was moved to Launch Pad 39A at the Kennedy Space Center Thursday morning, in preparation for the STS-132 mission, targeted for launch May 14 at 2:19 p.m. EDT. The astronauts who will fly Atlantis on its last planned mission were also at the pad and in a rare bit of fortunate timing, got to see their spacecraft begin its journey toward launching to space.
